Baroka FC forward Talent Chawapiwa was pleased to see Matome Mabeba’s score a superb free-kick that earned the side a place in the Telkom Knockout final.
Mabeba hit a peach of a free-kick just outside the box that left Bidvest Wits goalkeeper Darren Keet with no chance, as Bakgaga defeated the defending champions 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Zimbabwean reveals he was happy for Mabeba as he usually hits free-kicks the same way at training.

“We’ve been practicing like that. He’s a good specialist of free-kicks. I’m happy for him that he was able to score what we have been doing at training,” Talent Chawapiwa told SuperSport after the game.

“We know that Wits are good with crosses so we have to be tight at the back and switch on for the whole 90 minutes.

“I’m excited, the fans are happy it’s the first time for them to go to the final. I’m very happy for the fans.”- Soccer Laduma
