The South African Premier Soccer League has ruled on the matter involving Tendai Ndoro.
Ndoro’s eligibility to play for Ajax Cape Town has been in question after some of the PSL clubs queried the Mother City club’s use of his services in their matches.
Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United are among clubs that filed formal protests against the usage of the Zimbabwean in their matches against Ajax.
In their previous update on the matter, the PSL confirmed that arrangements were in place for the league to hear the protests from clubs over the fielding of the striker by the Urban Warriors.
With Ndoro having already played for two teams (Pirates and Saudi Arabia’s Al Faisaly) on the same calendar year this season, there have been complaints that his registration with Ajax breached FIFA’s transfer rules.
Since joining Ajax in January from the Saudi outfit, Ndoro has played in seven league matches for coach Mushin Ertugral’s team.
The 29-year-old also featured in one Nedbank Cup match played by the Ikamva-based outfit this season.
Now, the PSL has ruled in favour of the player that he can continue playing for his team for as long as they are happy to use him in their matches.- Soccer Laduma.
