Tonderai Ndiraya faced the media after his team’s 4-2 victory over Black Rhinos at Morris Depot and he had this to say.
“It is a very satisfactory result but I am disappointed by the way we defended and the way we conceded those two goals after having done a good job. We lost some concentration and in the process we conceded those two goals. We could have avoided it (conceding the two goals) but look, Rhinos were pushing hard for some goals and we were failing to deal with the long ball. That is however, part of the game, I am satisfied with what the boys put in.
We have had very difficult times especially in the six games we played before this one we only managed six points. I am glad that we have started the second half of the season on a good note taking three points away from home especially against a team which has been collecting some points. I think we are the first team now this season to beat Rhinos home and away and that is good for the team. It gives the team confidence going into our next match which is Hwange at home. The first half was a bit cagey but after that scoring our goals in 45 minutes was fantastic.”
