Ahmad Ahmad is the current president of Malagasy Football Federation who is serving a third term in office.
He took the reigns of Malagasy football back in 2003.
His flirtation with football started during his teenage years as a player before graduating to coaching.
His ascendancy to the CAF presidency will excite a lot of Zimbabweans as he had ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa as his campaign manager in the run up to the elections.
He becomes CAF’s seventh president after winning 34 votes to Issa Hayatou’s 20.
