Dynamos forward Christian Epuopa Ntouba and his manager, Gilbert Sengwe did not turn up at the Sunday morning media briefing that NetOne organised to clear the air surrounding the Dynamos- Ntouba impasse.
Dynamos sponsors, NetOne, through their CEO, Lazarus Muchenje said the mobile network providers held up their end of the bargain by paying Epoupa a gross total of $18, 125,00 this year.
Ntouba however, is yet to play for Dynamos this season as reports from his camp claim that he is yet to be paid his allowances and signing on fees.
“We have invited Dynamos Executive as well as Epoupa and his manager to this press conference, to assert our position as NetOne and allay any misconceptions that we have not been paying the player since the beginning of this year,” said the CEO.
Ntouba and his manager, however, did not show up.
Sengwe later told Gemazo Magazine that he was out of town on the occassion of the media briefing and that he was also not at liberty to comment on the statement that NetOne had issued.
“I am in Rusape. At present I am not in Harare and I can’t comment on that. I left Harare on Friday evening around 10pm and up to now I am still not in Harare,” said Gilbert Sengwe.
